From masterplan to grand opening – Burnside Village Stage 6 is now open! Congratulations to The Cohen Group and all our collaborators on a world-class result. Burnside Village continues to set the benchmark for premium retail in South Australia.
Titanium Property Investment has walked every step of the journey on Burnside Village since 2016, helping guide the transformation of one of South Australia’s most iconic shopping destinations.
We began with a master plan for the full city block — reimagining an already successful centre anchored by Coles Group, ZARA and 80 specialty stores. We secured State Significant status and obtained a 10-year staged approval from the State Planning Panel in 2019 for a further 37,000m² of GLA across two major stages:
- Stage 6 – ~20,000m² now complete and open 29 May 2025
- Stage 7 – a future stage to meet long-term demand
Despite COVID delays, the vision has endured. Designed by Buchan, the completed Stage 6 is a showcase of natural light, art and garden-inspired paths, and a breathtaking grid-shell sky roof. We led the appointment of the full project team including the building tender and selection of Hansen Yuncke.
Once the Project was established The Cohen Group employed its own development delivery team lead by CEO Gregg Downer and Titanium continued to provide support and assistance during the earlier phases of the project delivery assisting the group to transition to execution. Titanium provided the flexibility to tap into our expertise as it was required.
During the delivery Titanium also took on the critical role of Retailer Design Management — ensuring that each tenancy delivers design excellence and functional store fitout. Our team has worked closely with incoming retailers to align design intent with the original project vision and the building architecture, enhancing the overall customer experience and creating a harmonious interface between neighbouring tenancies.
This opening marks a major milestone in a long-term vision for Burnside Village . With momentum building, the centre is poised to enter its next chapter as a truly world-class destination for fashion, lifestyle, food and community.
